It is with great sadness that we report that Dave Ameele passed away on October 1st. Dave's memorial service will be held Thursday, October 11 at 7 pm at Shannon-Bryan Mortuary, 137 E. Maple, Orange. In addition, the school is planning a Celebration of Life for Dave on Thursday, October 18 at 3 pm in Cook Auditorium at A.H.S. Dave was a well-known drummer in the Los Angeles area. He had extensive performing experience as a percussionist, and over twenty years of experience as a music educator at all levels. He was also a published composer who wrote in the idioms of jazz, concert band, and solo percussion. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. |
